About Me
I‘m Andy DeSoto, a current St. Louisan and native of Fairfax, Virginia. I am a graduate of the Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology in Alexandria, Virginia, the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia, and am currently a Ph.D. student at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.
I’ve been a blogger and technology enthusiast for many years, now, but this site was my first ‘official’ project here on the net. Ever since Facebook launched several years ago, I’ve been interested in bringing my love of social media and social networking to those around me, and hope to do the same with the online world through this website.
If you’d like to get in touch with me, please visit this site’s Contact page.

As of August 1, 2008, the aim of andydesoto.com is to:
Introduce individuals to new Internet and social media technologies, assist existing users in integrating these technologies into their lives more fully, and comment on usability, practicality, and accessibility in the digital age.
